HPV Papillomavirus – Detection with Genotype

175

HPV is the name of a very common group of viruses. They do not cause any problems in most people, but some types can cause genital warts or cancer.
This test can detect up to 28 genotypes of human papillomavirus. You can differentiate between two groups: oncogenic HPV genotypes (16, 18, 26, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 53, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68, 69, 73, 82) and generic HPV genotypes (6, 11, 40, 42, 43, 44, 54, 61, 70).

In the case of exudates in asymptomatic people, a negative result does not exclude that the infection exists.
